Rainfall is likely to continue across several parts of India on Sunday, August 9, with fairly widespread to widespread showers forecast in multiple states and regions. The weather system is also expected to bring isolated heavy and very heavy rainfall in parts of north, central, east, northeast, west and south India. Thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds are also likely over several areas during the forecast period.
