Monsoon conditions are expected to remain active across many parts of India on August 1, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall in multiple regions. Parts of north, central and northeastern India are likely to witness intense showers. States such as Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Assam, and Arunachal Pradesh may experience heavy rainfall along with thunderstorms.
