Alan O’Reilly of Carlow Weather took to Twitter on Wednesday night, and said: “Latest weather models showing risk of SSW increasing but remember any impacts on our weather are uncertain and if it does impact our weather it would likely be towards the end of this month or early into March”.
The UK Met Office gave their predictions on the matter and said that “the latest forecasts are showing that a major SSW is likely to take place.
