Weather Concerns in Brazil Boost Arabica Coffee Prices

May arabica coffee (KCK25) today is up +2.60 (+0.66%), and May ICE robusta coffee (RMK25) is down -19 (-0.34%).

Coffee prices today are mixed, with arabica coffee climbing to a 2-week high.  Weather concerns in Brazil are boosting arabica prices after Cooxupe, Brazil's largest arabica coffee co-operative, said high temperatures and below-normal rainfall last month in Brazil should negatively affect coffee yields this year.   Also, current supplies have tightened as ICE-monitored arabica coffee inventories fell to a 1-month low last Friday of 777,708 bags.
