A wealthy Leeds man with a £1.5m house in the city was allegedly 'murdered' by his wife's young lover who she had promised to bring for a new life in the UK.
Mohammad Farooq, 65, from Headingley, is suspected to have been killed by a 30-year-old handyman, who was allegedly the lover of his wife Yasmeen Kausar, 65. Ms Kausar was arrested by police earlier this month and charged with hiring two men to kill her husband of more than 20 years, Mr Farooq.
Mr Farooq had a sprawling £1.5m home in Leeds. The businessman was the director of a British property firm and had other interests including a hotel in Leeds and one in Rawalpindi in Pakistan which is owned by his family.
