‘We will never be safe’: A day of bombing in Gaza’s Jabalia refugee camp

Gaza City – Amid intense bombardment at noon (9:00 GMT) on Monday, Israeli missiles landed on the Jabalia refugee camp just north of Gaza City, unleashing unimaginable trauma on those who live there.

Asmaa Tayeh, a young writer who lives in the camp, had grown accustomed to the sound of missiles in surrounding area since a surprise attack on Saturday prompted Israel to declare war on Hamas.
