It's almost a year since Castore unveiled their first kits as Newcastle United's official supplier. So much has changed since then of course, and it remains to be seen whether the company will continue working with the Magpies beyond 2022-23.
Having already supplied Wolves and Rangers prior to their Newcastle deal, there were rumours linking Phil and Tom Beahon with Mike Ashley, which were quickly dismissed following the announcement. United had previously worked with long standing supplier Puma from 2010-2021 and before that with Adidas for fifteen years dating back to the mid 1990s.
The Saudi takeover does bring questions however as to whether Castore's contract will continue. With the Magpies front of shirt sponsor Fun88 also agreed during the Ashley era, it also begs the question whether we will see a swift change there too, as PIF look to further stamp their authority on the club.

Taking over all retail operations at Newcastle United too, Castore has collaborations with Sir Andy Murray, Owen Farrell and Adam Peaty as well as being backed by one of the ' wealthiest families in the UK '.
Rumours followed the announcement last summer regarding just how much the deal was to be and was said to be valued around the £5m mark but, will all football club kit deals vastly different, it is almost impossible to place an accurate valuation on deals with so much dependent on sales performance.
How have you found Castore? Have you purchased any kits or training wear? Have you had any issues with delivery or quality? Were you left frustrated by the thin black and white stripes and the visible 'number 4' on the front of the home shirt? Did you appreciate the return of the grandad neck collar?
