We tried value shampoo from Sainsbury's, Aldi, Tesco and a 75p one smelt dreamy

There's nothing better than the feeling of freshly washed hair, but lets be honest, shampoo can be pretty expensive.

With so many different types of shampoo available to purchase for different types of hair, it can be hard to decide which one to go for. Many of us purchase shampoo to specifically combat issues with our hair, such as dryness and frizz - but those shampoos can often cost a fortune.

As part of our cost of living series, we test different 'value' items each week to see if forking out that extra bit of money for branded products is even worth it. As consumers, we are often drawn to more expensive brands, but sometimes as we've found throughout the past few weeks, that isn't always necessary.
