We tried Tesco's Hot Cross Scones with different toppings and the taste left us baffled

In time for Easter, Tesco have launched Hot Cross Scones. A hybrid between two popular snacks.

Tesco explain that they have the same crumbly texture as scones and made with Cornish buttermilk and Cornish clotted cream, with a tangy citrus flavour and currants throughout.

But can a hot cross scone be better than a hot cross bun or a scone?
