Edinburgh has its fair share of fine dining venues, with the city known for its incredible restaurants and chefs.
However, one new addition has now been made to the list, tucked away right on the outskirts of the city in a quaint and historic pub.
A staple of Ratho village for years, The Bridge Inn have now launched their latest venture, Bridge 15, a new restaurant that will be serving up some finer dishes from this month.

With the kitchen run by Tyler King, 28, the chef knows what he's doing - after being trained up at German Michelin starred restaurant, Prism and working at some of Scotland's top eateries.
The venue has a stunning view over the Union Canal, which diners will be able to enjoy alongside the new menu from March 15.
Ahead of the opening, we headed down to see how the new restaurant fared and if it was worth the trip out from the city centre. Spoiler alert - it most definitely was.
After relaxing with a drink in the heated beer garden, we sampled a few of the restaurants appetisers, which included an 'Arbroath smokie doughnut with a spring onion emulsion', which instantly won us over.
For starters, we chose the Venison Tartare with a blackcurrant gel, as well as the Mushroom ravioli, which were beautifully presented and both tasted incredible.
Following our first course, we both opted for the Monkfish, which came with a 'mussel XO, burnt leeks, pine nuts and a vermouth sauce.'
Wolfed down in seconds, we agreed that the dish was definitely one of, if not the best fish dish we had been lucky enough to devour in years.
We were also lucky enough to sample a little of the lamb loin, which was cooked to perfection and came with a delicious potato and roast cabbage.
Also snacking on some fresh bread and wild garlic butter during the meal, we went for a 'Crowdie Cheesecake Mousse' for dessert as well as a chocolate cremeux with a passionfruit curd.
Just the perfect size to finish off the meal, both dishes were rich, sweet and indulgent, with the meal definitely ending on a high.
As well as the cosy and inviting restaurant, the service was fantastic and on the ball, and we can't wait to head back on a spring or summers evening to enjoy it once again.
Seven miles west of Edinburgh city centre, Tyler will be creating an array of changing dishes for the pub, with the 28-year-old raring to get going.
Speaking about the venture, he said: “I always knew I wanted to come back to Scotland to open a restaurant and showcase the top-quality produce we have here. I am ecstatic to be part of such an iconic Edinburgh gastropub and l am looking forward to bringing something new to the table for our guests.
“The menus at Bridge 15 at The Bridge Inn will be constantly evolving, with daily specials changing depending on what we receive from local suppliers. Being able to work on dishes with vegetables and pork sourced from the pub’s own garden is phenomenal.”
Bridge 15 at The Bridge Inn will open Tuesday – Saturday from 6pm – 9pm, and is due to open on March 15.
