We simulated West Ham United vs Arsenal to get a Premier League score prediction

Arsenal must bounce back from their draw against Liverpool when they face West Ham United to keep them in control of the Premier League title race.

After going two goals ahead, Arsenal were held to a 2-2 draw against Liverpool in their previous outing, allowing Man City to close the gap between the two sides after their win over Southampton. City beat Leicester on Saturday evening to close the gap yet again and Mikel Arteta will know nothing but a win will do for his young Gunners side.

Arsenal know they can’t drop points, with Pep Guardiola’s side also having a game in hand on the Gunners. The last meeting between Arsenal and their east London rivals ended in a 3-1 win, with the Hammers winning just one of their previous 15 meetings with Arsenal.

So, could Arsenal get back to winning ways against West Ham? Let's take a look.

West Ham vs Arsenal score predicted by simulation

To complete this simulation, we used FIFA 23 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.

We predict that the hosts could line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Fabianski; Kehrer, Zouma, Aguerd, Emerson; Soucek, Rice; Bowen, Paqueta, Benrahma; Antonio.

We predict that the Gunners could set up in a 4-3-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Ramsdale; White, Holding, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Partey, Xhaka, Odegaard; Saka, Jesus, Martinelli.

Despite both teams sitting far apart in the Premier League table, West Ham were smothering Arsenal in the first half, with the Hammers sitting in the Gunners' half and creating plenty of chances. David Moyes' side should've taken the lead, but Aaron Ramsdale was producing more heroics in goal to keep the score level.

A standout save came just before half-time when Michail Antonio broke through on goal and took aim from just outside the box. Trying to catch Ramsdale out, the 'keeper managed to tip the ball just wide of the post when backpedalling to goal.

The English 'keeper was forced into some more big saves to send Arsenal into the break level. In the second half, the roles reversed, and Arsenal should've been a few goals ahead if it wasn't for some poor finishing.

Gabriel Jesus should've scored in the second half (EA SPORTS)

Gabriel Jesus was the culprit, with the striker failing to even hit the target with three one-on-ones. The best chance came in the 74th minute when he broke through on goal on the right, but his shot curled away from the goal and past the post.

Neither side could find a breakthrough goal, and the clash ended 0-0.

FIFA 23 predicted score: West Ham 0-0 Arsenal

FIFA 23 predicts that Arsenal could slip up again in their race for the title, drawing 0-0 against West Ham. Gabriel Jesus was guilty of missing some major chances, with a draw putting the title in City's hands.
