We simulated Tottenham vs Chelsea to get a Premier League score prediction

Spurs will be looking to overcome their poor recent home record against Chelsea on Sunday when the London rivals go head-to-head in the Premier League.

Since making the move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Spurs have failed to pick up a single point in the league against Chelsea, losing 6-0 on aggregate in that time. Antonio Conte will be hoping his side can put an end to the run of losses, whilst the Blues will bite your arm off for three points on Sunday.

Chelsea have won just once in their last 10 games in all competitions, with Graham Potter's side 10th in the table, 11 points behind Spurs in fourth. The reverse fixture between these two sides earlier this season ended in a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge, with former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel and Conte both being sent off in a feisty affair.

So, could Spurs return to winning ways on Sunday? Let's take a look.

Spurs vs Chelsea score predicted by simulation

To complete this simulation, we used FIFA 23 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.

We predict that the Lilywhites could line up in a 3-4-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Forster; Romero, Dier, Davies; Emerson, Skipp, Hojbjerg, Perisic; Kulusevski, Kane, Son.

We predict that the Blues could set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Kepa; James, Silva, Badiashile, Chilwell; Enzo, Loftus-Cheek; Sterling, Felix, Mount; Havertz.

Despite their recent run of poor results, the Blues have improved performance-wise, and they were the same in the opening stages of the simulation, with Joao Felix and Mason Mount impressing behind the striker. Fraser Forster was forced into an early save to deny Kai Havertz from close range, but there was nothing he could do minutes later when the German made it 1-0.

As Felix picked up the ball 40 yards from goal, the forward surged forward, dragging multiple white shorts towards him and opening up space for others. Felix spotted the run of Havertz as he flicked the ball into the striker's path, and the German drilled a low strike across goal, evading Forster and finding the bottom corner.

Spurs rarely threatened the Chelsea goal, with their best chance falling the way of Dejan Kulusevski just after the restart, but his strike from close range ballooned over the bar. Kane tried his luck from range twice in the final 20 minutes of the game with no luck, but it was Potter's side who almost grabbed the second of the game with eight minutes to go.

Joao Felix hit the post (EA SPORTS FIFA)

Felix played a smart one-two with Havertz just outside the box, and a set of stepovers from the former allowed Felix to breeze past Eric Dier and burst through on goal. Opting for power over placement, the forward's strike struck the post in a let-off for Spurs.

The hosts were unable to offer any threat after Felix's miss though, and Chelsea held out for the narrow victory.

FIFA 23 predicts that Chelsea could finally pick up an important win in the Premier League, winning 1-0 in the simulation. Spurs' torrid home record is tipped to continue this weekend by FIFA 23 as Conte's side struggled to create chances against a blunt Chelsea defence in-game.
