Tottenham have the chance to move up to third in the Premier League table on Saturday when they take on Southampton.
A Harry Kane brace followed by a Heung-Min Son strike secured a 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest in Spurs ' last outing, keeping Antonio Conte's side fourth in the table. The victory put an end to three games without a win for Spurs, and if they were to pick up three points on Saturday, they would move up to third in the Premier League table with Manchester United in FA Cup action.
Spurs and Southampton have already met once in the Premier League this season, with Conte's side winning 4-1 on the opening day of the season. So, could Spurs extend their stay in the top four on Saturday? Let's take a look.

Southampton vs Spurs score predicted by simulation
To complete this simulation, we used FIFA 23 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.
We predict that the hosts could set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Bazunu; Bree, Bednarek, Bella-Kochap, Perraud; Ward-Prowse, Lavia; Walcott, Alcaraz, Sulemana; Adams.
We predict that Spurs could line up in a 3-4-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Forster; Romero, Dier, Lenglet; Porro, Skipp, Hojbjerg, Davies; Richarlison, Kane, Son.
It was a slow start from Spurs on the south coast, with Conte's side struggling to control the game and allowing Southampton to pick up some early confidence. The hosts forced Fraser Forster into three saves in the first 10 minutes, and after 24 minutes they opened the scoring.
A well-timed run from Che Adams beat the Spurs high line, with the striker latching onto James Ward-Prowse's long ball forward. The Scotsman shrugged off Eric Dier before trying his luck from outside the box, and Forster let the ball fly through his arms and into the corner.
It was a poor start from Spurs, but Conte's side grew into the game just before the break, with Harry Kane striking the post from Ben Davies' cross into the box. It was a promising spell for Spurs, and they found the equaliser in the 44th minute to set up an interesting second half.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg surged forward from midfield to offer support to Son, and the forward flicked the ball into the midfielder's path to send him through on goal. Some great composure saw Hojbjerg round the 'keeper before firing into the empty net to make it 1-1.
Not long after the restart, Richarlison was brought down in the box, and Spurs were awarded a penalty. Kane stepped up to take it, but his shot had too much elevation, and he rattled the crossbar as Conte's side were held to a draw.
FIFA 23 predicted score: Southampton 1-1 Spurs
FIFA 23 predicts that Tottenham could spur the chance to go to third in the Premier League table, drawing 1-1 against Southampton. The hosts were able to contain Spurs for the majority of the game, whilst an error in goal handed the Saints the lead early on.
