Manchester United take on Brighton in the Premier League on Tuesday, with the Reds looking to move back above West Ham into the Champions League qualification places.
United are yet to win a game in February, after suffering a shock FA Cup exit to Middlesbrough, before drawing back-to-back games against Burnley and Southampton. The Reds boast an impressive record against the visitors, with Brighton having never won a league game at Old Trafford, drawing two and losing 11 of their last 13 visits away to United.
Ralf Rangnick will be without Nemanja Matic, Edinson Cavani and Eric Bailly for the game on Tuesday, whilst Fred could return to the matchday squad after missing the previous two fixtures following a positive test for Covid-19 at United's Carrington training complex last Monday.
So, what line-ups will both teams select? And, what could the final score be?
We used FIFA 22 to get a score prediction for United versus Brighton on Tuesday and this is what happened...
Man United v Brighton score predicted by simulation
We used kick-off mode in FIFA 22, but didn't select a team to control, we then selected the teams and watched the match play out by itself, to give us a score prediction.
We predict that United could set up in a 4-3-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: De Gea; Dalot, Varane, Maguire, Telles; McTominay, Pogba, Fernandes; Elanga, Ronaldo, Sancho.
We predict that Brighton could set up in a 5-2-2-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Sanchez; Lamptey, Veltman, Dunk, Webster, Cucurella; Bissouma, Moder; Mac Allister, Trossard; Maupay.
United got off to the perfect start as Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring inside five minutes with a brilliant finish from close range to give the hosts a 1-0 lead early in the game.
Fernandes started the move after receiving the ball in midfield, beating his man and feeding the ball to Cristiano Ronaldo who used some good footwork to open the space inside the penalty box to play the ball back to his compatriot to slot the ball home past Sanchez in the Brighton net.
United continued to push to try and extend their advantage before the half-time break, with Ronaldo coming closest with a volleyed effort just inside the penalty box, but his effort flashed just wide of the post.
As has been a theme of United's recent performances, the Reds tailed off in the second half and struggled to retain their dominance in possession and chance creation.
Brighton threatened on numerous occasions as United relied on David De Gea to keep the score at 1-0, with Scott McTominay and Harry Maguire at fault defensively, allowing the likes of Trossard and Maupay to have good chances at equalising.
But United were able to hold on to the final whistle and take all three points for the first time this month, despite coming under pressure from the visitors throughout the second half at Old Trafford.
FIFA 22 predicted final score: Manchester United 1-0 Brighton
Here are the full-time match stats.
FIFA 22 predicts that United may take an early lead and make their dominance count in the first half, controlling possession and creating a number of good chances. However, a similar story could unfold in the second half as Brighton respond and start to fight back, with United at fault defensively and relying on David De Gea to see them through and seal all three points.
