Following back-to-back home defeats against Southampton and Wolves, Tottenham travel to the Etihad to take on Manchester City this weekend.
Antonio Conte is expected to be able to recall Eric Dier to the matchday squad after the 28-year-old was spotted training with the first team after recovering from a thigh injury. January signing Rodrigo Bentancur is likely to start alongside Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg once again in the Spurs midfield, whilst Dejan Kulusevski could again start from the bench with Lucas Moura preferred in attack to support Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane.
Conte will be without Japhet Tanganga for the trip to the Etihad with the defender still out with a knee injury, whilst Oliver Skipp was also absent from training due to an ongoing groin problem.
So, what line-ups will both teams select? And, what could the final score be?
We used FIFA 22 to get a score prediction for Man City vs Spurs on Saturday and this is what happened...
Man City vs Spurs score predicted by simulation
We used kick-off mode in FIFA 22, but didn't select a team to control, we then selected the teams and watched the match play out by itself, to give us a score prediction.
We predict that Spurs could set up in a 5-2-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Lloris; Royal, Romero, Dier, Davies, Reguilon; Hojbjerg, Bentancur; Moura, Son, Kane.
We predict that Man City could set up in a 4-3-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Laporte, Cancelo; Rodri, De Bruyne, Silva; Mahrez, Sterling, Foden.
Spurs started slowly at the Etihad, struggling to get hold of possession and relying on counter-attacks to create chances with the pace of Lucas Moura and Heung-Min Son to get in behind the City defence.
Conte's side struggled to contain City's attack throughout the first half as Phil Foden opened the scoring for the home side on the stroke of half-time with an excellent bicycle kick, despite being under pressure from Cristian Romero and Emerson Royal.
Raheem Sterling cut in from the left-wing after beating Royal with some nice footwork before lifting the ball towards the near post, Foden acrobatically volleyed the ball towards the far post as his shot looped over Romero, Dier and Lloris into the far corner and into the back of Spurs' goal to give the hosts 1-0 lead.
Conte's side came out a different side in the second half as Hojbjerg and Bentancur started to win their duels in midfield and push Spurs further up the pitch.
Son came close to levelling the score with a whipped shot that grazed the post with the away side showing signs that they could get back into the game, with City starting to become complacent in possession.
A loose pass from former Spurs defender Kyle Walker was picked off by Bentancur who then fed the ball into Harry Kane's feet, the 28-year-old was able to pick his head up and play a clever ball that split the City defence and found Son, with the South Korean attacker able to hold off Laporte and fire the ball into the top corner past Ederson to make it 1-1.
Kane, who had been relatively quiet all game, produced a moment of class with his inch-perfect through ball into the path of Son who lashed the ball into the back of the net in clinical fashion, sending the away end into raptures with just five minutes left to play.
Conte urged his team to try and find a late winner, sensing that City were on the ropes, but there wasn't enough time remaining as the referee blew for full-time with Spurs leaving Manchester with a well-earned point.
FIFA 22 predicted final score: Man City 1-1 Spurs
Here are the full-time match stats.
FIFA 22 predicts that Spurs will struggle to get into the game in the first half and concede just before half-time as City dominated possession and created plenty of chances.
Conte's side could come out fighting in the second half though and their performance could see them earn a crucial point in the hunt for Champions League football, with a late goal enough for Spurs to take a point from the Etihad.
