Chelsea look set to sign 19-year-old striker David Datro Fofana in the January transfer window as Graham Potter starts to shape his squad to his liking.
After spending £278.4m in the summer transfer window, Chelsea have made far from a perfect start to the season, currently sitting eighth in the Premier League whilst producing some underwhelming performances. With Armando Broja confirmed to miss the rest of the season through injury and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Kai Havertz both misfiring, it looks like Potter will bring an attacker to the club as his first signing.
According to the ever-reliable Fabrizio Romano, Molde striker Fofana will sign for the Blues in the coming weeks, with personal terms still being discussed. The youngster has scored 15 goals and grabbed five assists in 24 appearances this season, and the Cote d'Ivoire international will cost £8.6m.
