Arsenal have been linked with a move for PSV forward Cody Gakpo in the summer, as the Gunners potentially look for a new forward in this summer's transfer market.
With Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah both potentially leaving Arsenal in the summer at the end of their contracts, and former captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang having left for Barcelona in January, it will leave Mikel Arteta's side with no senior strikers at the club next season with the Gunners expected to delve into the transfer market this summer to replace them.
According to The Athletic, Arsenal are in the race for Gakpo's services in the summer, with a move to the Gunners potentially costing between £30m and £42m. Gakpo has played a vital role in PSV's title charge this season, with the versatile forward having grabbed eight goals and 13 assists in just 20 league appearances. The 22-year-old has played regularly on both wings and in the striker role for the Dutch side this season, a trait that will attract interest from Arteta.
