It's officially Leo season and Maya Jama's vacation style is bringing all the fire (and FOMO) as the Love Island host, gives us a glimpse into her ultimate girls' trip.
We shouldn't let our jealousy get the best of us, because after eight weeks of witnessing all of Love Island UK's mad moves, falling outs and just general messiness (not to mention serving one incredible Love Island outfit after another), our Maya deserves a rest.
But while she is indeed kicking back poolside, she's definitely not resting in the fashion department, as every single one of her vacay looks—and accessories for, that matter—deserve a spot in your summer capsule wardrobe.
Maya Jama's vacation style: how to channel her 'Leo energy'
At this point, Maya Jama is an indisputable fashion icon—there's a reason why we turn to Maya Jama's sunglasses collection for inspo—so it's only natural that even her holiday vibe would be top-tier.
Taking to her Instagram on Tuesday, August 8, the Love Island: Aftersun host shared a carousel of her villa getaway (perhaps inspired by her slow-mo walks into the Love Island villa) where she repped both a colorful, zebra print bikini and a gingham print one, numerous pairs of chic sunnies and a very Y2K fashion denim skirt—which she paired with said Zebra bikini. We even spied a Jacquemus bucket hat in one slide...
She captioned her photo dump with: "Leo season & all thattttt," before also taking to her IG story to share snaps of her and her pals dressed up to the nines, on their way to a party.
Maya herself wore a shimmering, icy blue sheer dress which she wore over her blue and orange zebra bikini, pairing the combo with white sunglasses and her new 'Leo season hair.'
Her fits were all pretty straightforward but elevated by her choice of bold prints and statement accessories, which are lessons we can all take for our next sunny getaway, whether that's this summer or next (*cry*).
MIL's picks of Maya-approved vacay staples
Each one of these summery pieces is a staple you can rely on for many summers to come, but if you do have a last-minute summer getaway planned, we'd definitely recommend a bikini and sheer dress combo, à la Maya Jama!
