We Now Know the Date of the 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards so We're Looking Back at Last Year's Best Looks

We're all gearing up for fashion's biggest night, aka the Met Gala, which transpires on the first Monday in May. It isn't called the Oscars of fashion for nothing. But there's now another event to mark on your calendar. The 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards is set to take place on October 28 at the American Museum of Natural History. Once again, Amazon Fashion will serve as its presenting partner.

The Council of Fashion Designers of America always brings out A-list attendees for the annual ceremony. Mainly because the designers it honors relies on models and celebrities to show off their award-worthy designs. So we're getting super psyched about the potential guest list. Our fingers are collectively crossed hoping Zendaya and Law Roach attend the awards.

While we're waiting to see if our sartorial dreams come true, let's take a fond look back at the best the 2023 CFDA Fashion Awards had to offer. There was a bit of a shakeup before the ceremony as Anne Hathaway was called to sub for original host Sarah Jessica Parker for unknown reasons. Hathaway stepped into the role with great aplomb delivering two of the night's best looks. She was ravishing in a red Rodarte number and a denim Ralph Lauren Collection Spring 2024 set.

But she was far from the only stunner. New beauty mogul Serena Williams made an impression in custom Thom Browne.
