We joined people at Binks Yard to watch the Queen's funeral together

Nottinghamshire Live reporter Lana Adkin travelled to Binks Yard in Sneinton, where people gathered to watch the Queen's funeral on a big screen. Here's what she thought of the moving occasion.

It’s a sad day for our country. Whether you're young or old, a royalist or not, you can feel a difference in the air. I travelled to Binks Yard, at The Island Quarter in Nottingham, where the Queen's funeral was due to be screened and on my travels, with many shops not opening until later, it felt eerie with few cars on the street. It reminded me of lockdown.

I arrived at around 10.20am for the service which was due to take place at 11am. It was a very calm atmosphere at Binks Yard, at this time there were about twenty to thirty people sitting outside looking at the big screen.
