Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst was impressed with what he saw from Manchester United loanee Amad Diallo after his goalscoring debut.
It took the Reds youngster just four minutes to find the back of the net, ghosting in at the back post to tap home from Joe Aribo's cross, but it wasn't to be a winning debut for the 19-year-old as Ross County battled back to a 3-3 draw.
Amad lasted 66 minutes for the Dutchman's side before he was replaced.
He joined the Scottish Premiership champions on Friday in search of first-team minutes and made his mark early on - as he did on his United debut scoring early against AC Milan.
And van Bronckhorst was impressed with his first appearance for the Scottish champions.
"You could see his quality, I mean he made the first goal he was very good in the space in the second post, you could see what he can give to the team.," the 46-year-old said.
"He's got the talent but we had to take him off because he didn't have the rhythm like other players. Overall, was a good performance by him but in the end, we are disappointed with the draw."
Amad could make successive starts for the Gers on Wednesday when the top two meet in the Old Firm derby.
