Former Everton scout Carlo Jacomuzzi has revealed his old club rejected the chance to sign Napoli star Kim Min-jae before his move to Italy.
The South Korea international has been in stunning form for Napoli this term, playing a key role as they secured the Scudetto. The centre-back has made 43 appearances, scoring two goals and helping his team to an impressive 15 clean sheets in Serie A.
Arriving at Napoli in a €18.5m deal from Fenerbahce during the summer, the 26-year-old helped fill the void left by Kalidou Koulibaly, who joined Chelsea for £34m last year.
