The Guinness Storehouse has been transformed into a nature lover's paradise as part of a brand new summer experience and we're LOVING it.
Here at Dublin Live, we'll use any excuse to visit the Guinness Storehouse so when we heard they were launching the "Height of Summer" experience we were there before you could even say "pints". The immersive experience includes seven floors of botanic installations, live music performances, art exhibitions and more.
The Gravity Bar was decked out with beautiful greenery decorating the ceiling, hanging planters and even a DJ booth making it "Ireland's Highest Garden". More plants and flowers will be added to this "living space" over the coming weeks.

When we entered the Storehouse we were instantly greeted by an illustrated map of all the green spaces in Dublin that were supported by the Guinness family. Speaking about the artwork, artist Grace Enemaku told Dublin Live: "I wanted it to look fun and positive. I wanted it to feel summery."
Going up a few flights of stairs we found a wonderful art showcase by Hang Tough Gallery, which encapsulated the tranquilness and beauty of quiet summer days. We also found some lovely spaces that were perfect for photo ops.
When we got to the Gravity Bar we were blown away by the greenery and breathtaking scenic views as we enjoyed our freshly poured pints. There were QR codes along the windows that brought you to the online version of Grace Enemaku's illustrated map.
The Guinness family has a strong historical presence in many of the city’s most beautiful green spaces, from donating St. Patrick’s Park as a public garden in 1901, to commissioning the famous Oscar Wilde statue in Merrion Square. Eibhlin Colgan, Guinness Archivist said: "Guinness has such a rich history with parks and outdoor spaces in Dublin and it was a pleasure to work with Grace Enemaku to deliver a map of Dublin’s parks and outdoor spaces that have been influenced by Guinness throughout history."
