More than 120 UK millionaires, including former footballer Gary Lineker and music producer Brian Eno, have urged Prime Minister Andy Burnham to introduce higher taxes on the country's wealthiest people, arguing that Britain's richest can afford to contribute more.
Their appeal, published in an open letter on Wednesday, comes as Burnham begins his premiership with a challenge on how the country can fund public services and tackle regional inequality.
