NEW DELHI: Pakistan's star javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem, who secured a gold medal at the Paris Games, has called for modern facilities for Pakistani women athletes to help them compete at the highest levels.
Since winning Pakistan's first Olympic gold since 1984, Nadeem has received substantial rewards, including cash prizes of around 280 million PKR, cars, and other gifts.
