Wayne Rooney reveals final decision of FA investigation after "injure someone" claim

Wayne Rooney is relieved the FA probe into his claim he deliberately wanted to injure an opponent is over after escaping with a warning.

Rooney revealed in an Amazon documentary he changed his studs to "long metal ones" when playing for Manchester United at Chelsea in 2006 as he "wanted to try and hurt someone".

United were beaten 3-0 as Chelsea won the Premier League with Blues skipper John Terry leaving the game on crutches after being caught by Rooney.
