Wayne Rooney believes Marcus Rashford has rediscovered the directness, aggression and ruthlessness in front of goal that made him so dangerous when he initially broke through at Manchester United.
Rashford has already enjoyed a record-breaking season at United, his 24 goals more than he managed any other season with three months to spare. And that form has intensified massively since his return from World Cup action, with 16 goals in 18 games more than any one across Europe's top five leagues.
With each of those 24 strikes, the forward's confidence has grown to the point where he is now one of the most decisive players in the world, and former United and England teammate Rooney has heaped praise on the 25-year-old star.
