Wayne Pivac takes aim at Welsh regions and warns players aren't in good enough condition when they join up with Wales

Wayne Pivac has questioned the fitness levels of players at the four regions as he insisted two weeks with Wales wasn't enough time to get his stars up to speed to face the All Blacks.

Pivac felt players had benefitted from being in the Welsh camp for a month building up to the summer tour of South Africa "as our clubs had been knocked out of competitions early".

Ahead of this weekend's autumn clash with Argentina, Pivac reiterated his belief that longer time was needed with the Wales coaches to get the players fully up to speed with their demands.
