The world's last sea-going paddle steamer is set for a return to the waters of Ayr next month.
The iconic Waverley will berth in the town once again as part of a short summer season of trips 'doon the watter'.
It comes 75 years after her maiden voyage and although she has undergone many repairs along the way, her unmistakable charm continues to wow passengers far and wide.
The ship has been visiting Ayr recently to undergo berth tests ahead of sailings in July and August.
Waverley will offer a cruise from Ayr and Girvan round Ailsa Craig.
There is also the chance to join at Ayr and take an evening cruise up the Ayrshire coast to Largs with a coach connection back to Ayr.
Tickets for all Ayr and Girvan sailings can be booked online at waverleyexcursions.co.uk or by calling 0141 243 2224 or purchased on board when you sail.
