An institution of the city, the PS Waverley will again ferry Glaswegians doon the watter to Scotland's beautiful west coast this summer.
Earlier this month, the Waverley team shared video of the historic paddle steamer departing the Clydeside for her annual dry-dock inspection, ahead of its upcoming sailings.
For people looking to escape the city, parents searching for activities to keep their kids entertained or for tourists visiting Glasgow, a day trip on the famous old ship is well worth your time.

But when does the Waverley first set sail once more? And which stunning Scottish destinations will it be stopping off at this summer?
Here's everything you need to know.
As confirmed by Waverley Excursions: "Waverley is scheduled to return to service in late May on the Firth of Clyde.
"She will then offer sailings from Oban, Skye, Mull & Kyle of Lochalsh from June 6 until June 13 before returning to the Clyde for her main summer season."
The main summer season on the Clyde sees the paddle steamer take in destinations such as:
- Kilcreggan
- Rothesay
- Dunoon
- Blairmore
- Arrochar
- Brodick
- Millport
- Largs
Tighnabruaich
Ardrishaig
Lochranza
Tarbert
Many of the sailings depart Glasgow in the morning, while others depart from and return to Greenock.
As an example, on Sunday June 26, July 24 and August 14, the Waverley departs Glasgow at 9.30am in the morning, before heading to Greenock, Largs, Rothesay, before a cruise around Bute, returning to Rothesay, Largs, Greenock and back to Glasgow for 8pm.

How much do tickets cost?
