And as he shared that he was back filming for the show's new and what will be its 11th series, he revealed a very special piece of news.

In a snap with his niece Scarlett, Adam revealed that his first scene filming once more for Waterloo Road actually was a family affair.
He wrote: "My very first day back @waterlooroad …not only was it my first day, but it was my first scene with my lil niece @scarlettjthomas26.
"Am just in awe of this girl, could watch her all day every day! …can not wait for you guys to see her in action!
"What a special day.
"Waterloo Road is back!"
It's thought that his niece will be playing his on-screen child.
Presenter Lisa Snowdon commented on the cute snap, penning: "This is precious! What a total beauty!
"Not you Adam, Scarlett!"
Plenty of fans shared with the star that they were re-watching all of the show's previous series in readiness for the drama's return.
There are ten series in total, with 200 episodes spanning exactly nine years.
