Waterloo Bridge was closed for four hours following a major crash early this morning.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the collision which took place at around 4am today.
The bridge was closed in both directions from York Road, near to the IMAX Roundabout, to The Strand.
It reopened just after 8am.
Photos from the scene appear to show a Land Rover Defender with a mangled roof, its bonnet crumpled and open, and a smashed windscreen.
London buses were also been halted, as recovery vehicles worked to remove the vehicle.
Fourteen bus routes have been affected by the crash: 1, 59, 58, 76, 139, 171, 176, 188, 243, 341, N1, N68, N171 and the N343.
This is a developing story, more to follow.
