President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday released his evening video address in which he said the world would condemn the 'pseudo-referendums' being carried out in the occupied territories of Ukraine.
The Kremlin-orchestrated referendums in the Luhansk, Kherson and partly Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions were widely seen as a prelude to Moscow annexing the regions.
The voting, which was overseen by authorities installed by Russia, is scheduled to run through Tuesday and is almost certain to go the Kremlin's way.
Zelensky said Ukraine had proof of Russia trying to mobilize as many people as possible in Crimea, the peninsula Russia annexed from Ukraine in 2014.
