Nottinghamshire Police have stepped up patrols and speeding operations in the Rushcliffe area. Local neighbourhood policing team officers have been targeting places such as Bingham, Radcliffe on Trent, Cotgrave, Ruddington, Bradmore and East Leake, according to a statement on Wednesday, May 11.
Rushcliffe South Police warned drivers to "watch your speed" and said they will continue to target further locations "in the coming days". The force wrote on Facebook: "Local Neighbourhood Policing Team officers have conducted Speed Gun operations across Rushcliffe South this morning and this afternoon targeting locations in Bingham, Radcliffe on Trent, Cotgrave, Ruddington, Bradmore, East Leake and other rural locations such as Aslockton, Newton and Shelton.
"Our rural patrols will continue and further locations identified will be visited in the coming days with a view to Officers positively engaging with any motorists caught exceeding the speed limit. Please continue to watch your speed and manner of driving."
