With an impressive fourth quarter run in the California Classic opener against the Sacramento Kings on Monday, an early Summer League hero has risen for the Golden State Warriors.
Second year guard Lester Quinones dropped 13 of his team-high 26 points against the Kings in the California Classic opener on Monday in Sacramento.
Following his performance in his first Summer League appearance on Monday, the Memphis product picked up where he left off in game two on Wednesday. For their second game of the California Classic, the Warriors met the Charlotte Hornets and Quinones got involved early in the contest.
In the opening minutes, the 22-year-old guard flew down the court for a fast break that he ended with an exclamation point dunk. On his way to the rim, Quinones soared past 2023 No. 2 overall pick Brandon Miller.
