Tuesday night will forever live in the NBA’s history books.
With a tough fadeaway jumper in the third quarter of Tuesday’s game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder, LeBron James surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to become the NBA’s new all-time scoring leader.
James now sits alone at the top of the NBA’s all-time scoring leaderboard with 38,390 points and counting.
The Golden State Warriors joined the rest of the NBA community to honor James breaking Abdul-Jabbar’s scoring record. On Twitter, the Warriors shared a video with both Steph Curry and Draymond Green talking about the historic achievement for the Lakers All-Star forward.
