NEW DELHI: Virat Kohli's unbeaten match-winning half-century in Adelaide in the T20 World Cup Super 12 match against Bangladesh on Thursday once again highlighted the former India captain's love for the conditions Down Under, particularly at the Adelaide Oval.
A decade back, at the same venue in 2012, Kohli had scored his maiden Test century. He contributed 116 in India's 272 all out in the first innings in response to Australia's mammoth 604/7 declared. India went on to lose the match by 298 as the hosts chose to not enforce the follow-on and added another 167 runs before declaring their second innings. India folded up for just 201 in their second innings.
