NEW DELHI: Star batter Virat Kohli on Thursday departed for the United States to join the Indian team for the upcoming T20 World Cup in the Americas.

With the rest of the team already in New York, practicing ahead of their warm-up game against Bangladesh, followed by the campaign opener against Ireland on June 5, Kohli was the last to leave the country and will be joining the team soon.
