NEW DELHI: In an awkward turn of events, a young couple was caught by surprise when the broadcaster's cameraman panned onto them during the Boxing Day Test between Australia and Pakistan in Melbourne on Thursday.
The funny incident took place on Day 2 of the Test when the cameraman zoomed his camera towards a section of the crowd where a couple was sitting.
With the guy's arm around his partner, the girl casually had her head rested on the guy's shoulder when the moment was shown on the big screen at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Taken completely off-guard after seeing themselves on the giant screen, the girl immediately got up and moved away from the boy.
Both were later seen coming down from the upper stands amid a huge cheer from the crowd.
In the match, at the close of play on Day 3, Australia took their lead to 241 against Pakistan. The visitors currently trail the series 1-0.
