Minnesota Vikings receiver Adam Thielen pulled off a great contortionist act on Wednesday with a twisting one-handed touchdown catch in 7-on-7 red-zone drills.
The catch itself was completely ridiculous, but the fact that he was able to get his feet down in the back of the end zone took things up a notch. That was insanity.
Thielen, a two time Pro Bowler, is reminding people he still has plenty left in the tank at 31 years old.
With Justin Jefferson playing across from him, it’s going to put a lot of stress on opposing defenses to cover them both. After the circus catch, he was bum-rushed by teammates to celebrate what was easily the play of the day.
Whole squad had to celebrate that one https://t.co/626TSIfE9K pic.twitter.com/DjERGAixmQ

The Vikings are only in their third week of organized team activities, and Thielen is already looking like he’s preparing for a Week 9 game at a mid-season practice.
This could be just a taste of what’s to come with one of the most talented receiving corps playing in a completely revamped offense by coach Kevin O’Connell.
