NEW DELHI: Sporting attires have become a must for any sport but a UK-based Indian woman, who hails from Odisha, defied all perfection and has gone viral for running a marathon, in the city of Manchester in England, clad in a traditional Sambalpuri saree from the Northeast region.
Madhusmita Jena, 41, covered over 42km over the course of four hours and 50 minutes in her brightly coloured saree and sneakers on Sunday, a feat being showcased across social media since then.
