NEW DELHI: In a breathtaking display of athleticism, Rajasthan Royals (RR) pacer Trent Boult showcased his incredible fielding skills as he took a stunning sharp catch off his own bowling to dismiss Punjab Kings (PBKS) opener Prabhsimran Singh in an IPL match at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium in Dharamsala on Friday.
The incident happened as early as in the second ball of the innings when Boult delivered a tantalising length ball that subtly swung back in, leaving Prabhsimran uncertain in his shot selection. With a hesitant chip towards the bowler's end, Prabhsimran had no idea what was coming next. However, Boult, displaying extraordinary reflexes and agility, lunged to his right, soaring through the air, and plucked the ball in his follow-through.
