The Seattle Seahawks made quite the surprising runs to the postseason last year. Picked by many to be among the worst teams in football, Seattle surprised them all by sneaking in as the No. 7 seed.
Although their return to the playoffs was short lived, even qualifying for postseason football was an achievement in its own right.
Led by a resurgent Geno Smith and a surprisingly explosive offense, the Seahawks made plenty of highlight reels throughout the season. Below is one such reel from the NFL’s official Twitter account documenting the Top 10 plays Seattle had in 2022.

Quandre Diggs’ interception of Rams quarterback Baker Mayfield in overtime is truly deserving. When watching the game in real time, it sure appeared receiver Van Jefferson had taken advantage of busted coverage and was going to end Seattle’s season right then and there with a touchdown.
Had the Rams won outright, the Seahawks would have been eliminated from playoff contention on the spot. Instead, Seattle won on the ensuing possession with a field goal to keep their postseason hopes alive.
