It was around this time last year when fans and media members everywhere were blatantly overreacting to Tennessee Titans wideout Treylon Burks’ asthma and conditioning issues.
To say that many were prematurely pushing the panic button would be a drastic understatement.
Some essentially went as far as to claim that Burks was simply lazy and didn’t care enough to stay in shape throughout the pre-draft process.
Fast forward to one year later and those comments look even more ridiculous than they did back then. By all accounts, Burks has been phenomenal over the last few months in every possible way.
Several reports that he’s been faster, quicker, and hasn’t had any issues getting through practices this year.
Huge difference

Wide receivers coach Rob Moore even stated that Burks looks like a “different player” than he did this time last year due to the way he’s approached his preparation ever since last season ended.
It certainly appears that way whenever we get a glimpse into the practice field. On top of looking leaner and clearly in much better physical shape, Burks’ overall confidence appears to be growing as well.
The Arkansas product was recently mic’d up for an OTAs practice, and just from watching that you can tell he’s certainly in a much better head space now that he’s not in an uphill battle just to get back in shape while simultaneously learning an NFL offense.
On top of looking explosive and smooth, Burks constantly appears to be a growing vocal leader with his teammates, whether that be joking around, helping them out, or simply cheering them on.
