TikTok grandad Billy has said it is "utterly ridiculous" that he gets recognised in shops after going viral with his grandaughter.
Billy and his Aine regularly post funny videos on the popular social media platform which get tens of thousands of views.
The videos are posted by Aine's account, ainekennedyyy, which has over ten thousand views.
The pair started doing the videos to keep themselves busy over the long Covid lockdowns and Billy didn't know what a TikTok was before he started doing them.
Grandad Bill said: "I'm Billy and this is my granddaughter Aine. We are here because we like TikToks.
"I didn't know what they were until Aine told me. I actually volunteered to dance. She is the eldest granddaughter. I have ten granddaughters. I do like it."
Aine said she started doing the videos during lockdown and she has now become her gandad's TikTok manager.
She said: "We originally started in lockdown just to keep us busy. We didn't expect it to go viral."
"And now I am Billy's TikTok manager."
The videos are so popular that grandad Billy gets recognised when he goes shopping.
On his new found fame, Billy said: "I didn't even know what going viral meant... It is bloody ridiculous... it is utterly mad".
