The official promo for the massive boxing match between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou has been released – and it’s epic.
On Monday, the video trailer was made public ahead of the crossover showdown Oct. 28 in Saudi Arabia, and it portrayed both Fury and Ngannou as they should be – the two biggest and baddest men on the planet.
Fury’s size and magnitude in the boxing world, along with Ngannou’s in the MMA world, was put on display as two of the biggest heavyweight names in their respective sports collide.
You can watch the trailer in the video above.
The boxing match between Fury and Ngannou is scheduled for 10 rounds as a fully professional boxing match, although Fury’s WBC heavyweight title won’t be on the line.
Fury has yet to compete in 2023. The last time he defended the WBC belt was in December 2022, a TKO win over Derek Chisora in London.
Ngannou has never competed in a boxing match but has vast experience in MMA, with 20 professional fights. His last one was a unanimous decision win over Ciryl Gane to retain the UFC heavyweight title in January 2022.
After almost a full year off because of injury, Ngannou vacated his title and left the UFC earlier this year. In May, Ngannou signed a groundbreaking deal with the PFL that gave him equity and a leadership role in the promotion, as well as the freedom to pursue boxing.
