Michigan State football is off to the best start they could have asked for to open the Jonathan Smith era in East Lansing. The Spartans defeated Florida Atlantic before going on the road and earning a Big Ten road win against Maryland in College Park.
Next up for the Spartans is an FCS opponent, playing host to the Prairie View A&M Panthers inside of Spartan Stadium. The SWAC opponent was a late add to the Spartans schedule, and now is the team in the way from a 3-0 start to the Smith era.
