The Rams’ rookie class is undeniably the best in the NFL this year, boasting three Rookie of the Year candidates: Puka Nacua, Kobie Turner and Byron Young. While their top pick, Steve Avila, may not be getting love for any awards as an offensive lineman, he’s having himself a fantastic rookie season.
The Rams’ left guard has started every game thus far and in Week 17, he was mic’d up for the team’s win over the New York Giants. Like so many of his teammates, Avila has an infectious personality, which is evident in the mic’d-up video.
He had some of the best reactions to the Rams’ biggest plays on Sunday, including Puka Nacua’s 80-yard run and Kobie Turner’s multiple sacks.
