The popularity of the famous reality show 'Roadies' grips the Indian cricketers as well, and that was showcased in a video uploaded by young India opener Shubman Gill on his Instagram account.
In the video shot in a hotel room, Gill the 'Roadie' is seen being auditioned by wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan and leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal who act as two judges.
Ishan appears the most animated in the video, imitating a gorilla and intimidating Gill. Intimidation tactics are commonly seen on the Roadies show, where the judges try to test the candidate in the most extreme and harsh ways.
Team India's next assignment will see them take on Australia in a four-match Test series for the Border-Gavaskar trophy. The first Test starts on February 9 in Nagpur.
