Watch: Shania Twain sends fans into rapture at tiny Shacklewell Arms gig

Shania Twain swapped stadiums for something a bit more low-key on Saturday, popping up in a small, gritty east London pub instead.

A wave of cowboy hats and leopard print poured into the venue to catch the surprise warm-up show ahead of her appearances supporting Harry Styles at Wembley.

Footage from the night shows the 60-year-old clearly in her element, chatting with fans and thanking them for coming out to what she called a “special” gig.

Even in the tiny 200-cap venue, she still managed to get the place going — with the crowd singing and cheering throughout the set.

At one point she told the crowd: “I appreciate so much you joining me in this environment that I haven’t experienced since I was a kid, and it makes me feel very complete,” prompting plenty of whoops and cheers in return.
